In the recently published ‘Good Companies Guide’ (27 August), reported in the Business & Media section of The Observer, Workspace Group was listed among the top 20 companies in the FTSE 350 for ethical business performance.
The study – compiled with research from Co-operative Investments and EIRIS – highlights those companies that best manage their impact on the environment and the communities in which they operate. Also taken into consideration is the management of social and environmental risks and the corporate governance structures necessary to create a sustainable business longer term.
Evidence of performance on these is taken from Workspace’s own reporting – including the latest Annual Report & Accounts, Sustainability Report & website - and research from various sources compiled by the responsible share holding team at Co-operative Investments.
Workspace’s place in the Top 20 listing, reflects the the extra efforts made in areas of responsible business practice and supports our belief that responsible and sustainable business practices represent good business sense.
