Angel, London

What businesses does Angel suit?

Companies that need offices within central London but do not want to be located in the inner City might benefit from office space in Angel. The area is very close to Bank, in the heart of the financial districts, so businesses with ties to the financial sector may want to look into Angel. Close links to Waterloo and King’s Cross means businesses that need enhanced mobility around London and beyond could also consider relocating to Angel. If you work in the publishing sector, Angel is nearby to Farringdon and Clerkenwell, known for their links to the publishing industry.

Transport

Angel tube station is on the Northern Line between King’s Cross St Pancras and Old Street. Whilst Angel itself is only linked to one line, King’s Cross is linked to six underground lines and is the biggest interchange station on the underground network, meaning Angel offers very good mobility around London.

King’s Cross St. Pancras: 4 minutes
Waterloo: 21 minutes
Liverpool Street: 18 minutes
Euston: 8 minutes
Canary Wharf: 29 minutes

Eating

Although well known, it can be hard to find a Yo! Sushi (N1 Centre, 39 Parkfield St, London, N1 0PS). This one is pretty big, and offers an array of modern and traditional dishes served using the famous conveyor belt system. Alternatively, check out the Royal Thai Restaurant (52 Caledonian Rd, London, N1 9DP) which offers beautiful Thai food at reasonable prices. There are also a number of popular chain restaurants in and around Angel, such as Wagamama (40 Parkfield St, London, N1 0PS).

Going Out

Angel’s central location means there are lots of decent pubs for regulars and travelers. The Old Red Lion (418 St John's St, Angel, London EC1V 4JN) is a fantastic pub with a great atmosphere. It has an emphasis on sport – you can call before you visit to check what games are on – and it offers a great beer selection along with traditional Sunday roasts. Bar-wise, Lark in the Park (60 Copenhagen Street, London, N1 0JW) is independently run and has played host to some great live music acts, and has a beer garden and late license. Also check out The Ruby Lounge (33 Caledonian Rd, London, N1 9BU) which is a trendy bar for younger people with impeccable service.
