Corporate Responsibility

Sustainability is embedded within our business and is a consideration in everything we do. We work hard throughout the year - every year - to meet and exceed the targets we set ourselves in all areas of the business. Indeed social, environmental and ethical issues are fundamentally addressed by the nature of the Group’s activities – recycling old redundant buildings to provide attractive accommodation packages for small businesses, whilst providing a service support infrastructure for these small business customers.

Our sustainability strategy is structured around the 7 key principles that address our major stakeholders and responsibilities:

  • Workspace Group believes that strong and sustainable long-term economic performance is aided by compliance with economic, social, and environmental best practice and open reporting of its activities
  • Workspace Group aims to be a good landlord
  • Workspace Group aims to be a good employer
  • Workspace Group aims to build excellent long-term relationships with its suppliers by being a responsible purchaser of goods and services
  • Workspace Group aims to make the communities in which it invests better places to live and do business
  • Workspace Group aims to operate as a good corporate citizen
  • Workspace Group aims to reduce its direct adverse environmental impacts, wherever it has managerial control, and to influence others to reduce those that are indirect.
